Ascending to the top floor, where Wyren resides, you're bathed in the gentle glow of natural light filtering through numerous windows—a rare luxury in these bleak times. Descending the haphazard staircase, an emblem of engineering both questionable and endearing, you're met with the home's bustling heart—the kitchen.

In this primitive yet lively space, fish hang from the ceiling, drying in the warmth of the fireplace stove—a tribute to the village's reliance on the land's bounty. Wyren has grown up in a make-shift home that has been maintained over a hundred years or more. In a post-apocalyptic setting, the villagers tend to reuse and salvage whatever they can find to keep buildings upright. In Wyren's room, you will find some odd looking pieces of furniture but also a few modernistic run down pieces like his wall shelf. He collects things from outside and you can see rocks and driftwood here and there. The only ornate thing in his room is the tapestry rug on the floor. This is because even though the village lives in a post-apocalyptic setting, culture and creative things like rugs are treasured in this community. Although it is not clear what culture these tapestries and rugs are from, you can get a sense of old-world from them and their brilliant colors. Speaking of colors, you can see the wood is miss-matched and different colors as well.

Wyren lives on the top floor of his home. There are lots of windows in his room giving natrual light to wake him up. As you go downstairs (which are a hodge-podge of design and questionable in engineering...) you get into the home hallway. There is the shelves next to the Kitchen doorway with various knick-knacks, prized paintings, a tool box and below you can see some squash stored for eating later after a good harvest. Next you can see the questionable staircase. Going up and down it with the varied heights of stairs can only be done by a family who has used it for years and years to come, since making stairs is an engineered feat when it comes to the brain doing specific math for each step you must lift your foot up for... Ever trip on an uneven staircase? That would be this one for sure.

Then there is the kitchen. The heart of the home. You can see the primitive side of it with the fish hung from the ceiling to dry by the fireplace stove. Nothing matches in this kitchen. It's a complete hodge-podge of whatever was on hand and in good working condition. But at least there's an oven and a stove plate. Everything is cooked by wood burning though, so finding firewood is essential. There is also the strange looking kitchen table. It is clear the legs were made from natural wood logs. It's a wonder how it is even level, but understandable it's at kitchen counter height.

All in all, most of the houses in Sacrament Village are like this. You can tell what each resident focuses on when looking at the items in their house. Some have lots of pots, others have mostly cooking utensils, but mostly everything looks miss-matched and salvaged.
